Introduction

To my fellow peers, 

Hi everyone! My name is Amanda Smale and I am currently a freshman at Florida State University. The medical field has always amused me as ever since I was 11 years old I would watch famous surgeons perform intensive surgeries on their patients. My mom would catch me watching these procedures and not only tell me how crazy I am, but also say how if I liked it so much, why don't I pursue that as my career in college? Fast forward to college applications and I decided to major in nursing, which would fulfill my utmost dream of working within the medical field and helping others. I decided to create this blog to track my progress and share my experiences with you. Although this may be a rollercoaster of emotions, I hope you can relate and find this to be a resource to you as this as a safe place. Feel free to make comments or better yet, reach out!
